For four generations, our family, the Plewnia family, has been running Hotel Westfalia as an independent, privately owned hotel. Together with our team, we want to make your stay in Bremen as pleasant and uncomplicated as possible.

Our 47 rooms are available in several categories and vary in size and layout. As our hotel has grown and been modernised over many decades, no two rooms are exactly alike.

Within the same room category, floor plans, layouts, furnishings and interior design may vary. The facilities and level of comfort always correspond to the category booked.

For longer stays, we also offer furnished apartments with additional space and private cooking facilities.

Bremen on your doorstep

Many of Bremen’s best-known sights can easily be reached on foot from Hotel Westfalia. The Schlachte promenade along the River Weser is only around 500 metres away, while the historic city centre with the Town Hall, Roland statue, Schnoor quarter and main shopping streets is approximately 800 metres from the hotel.

A public transport stop is just a few steps from the hotel. Bremen Central Station, the airport, exhibition centre and Weserstadion are also within easy reach.

Our reception is personally staffed 24 hours a day. This means there is always someone available to assist you – whether you arrive late, have questions during your stay or would simply like a recommendation for exploring Bremen.

Guests arriving by car can use our paid on-site parking spaces. An EV charging station with a charging capacity of up to 22 kW is also available.

Larger vehicles and vans can also be accommodated in our car park, subject to availability.

Our hotel is located directly on the Weser Cycle Route and is particularly well equipped for the needs of cycling travellers.

Good to know

Our guest rooms are not air-conditioned.

On very warm summer days, temperatures in the rooms may therefore be higher. Some of our rooms face the street, and traffic noise may be noticeable when the windows are open.

If air conditioning is essential for your stay, please take this into consideration when choosing your hotel.
